2017 ACN April Program

Thursday, April 20, 2017
9:00 to 11:30 AM
Lumity (55 W. Van Buren St., #420 in Chicago)

Nonprofit organizations face many resource challenges while trying to deliver the greatest impact to their communities. The current volatile financial environment and increasing operating costs provide additional barriers. By collaboratively sharing back office services with other nonprofits, they can become more efficient in the back-end, which translates to more effective service delivery to benefit more constituents on the front-end. In this panel discussion, leaders from nonprofits with extensive experience in using back office service sharing, such as IT services and supply chain purchasing services, will share with us the best practices for successfully engaging in such collaborative efforts.

Panelists:

  • Dhiren Shah, Chief Financial Officer, Chicago Commons
  • Dan Strick, Chief Executive Officer, New Star
  • Emily Reusswig, Executive Director, Chicago Cultural Alliance

Moderator:

  • Genita Robinson, Director of Mission Sustainability Initiative, Forefront
